Synthesis (Combination)reaction
In a synthesis (aka. combination) reaction, two individual elements combine to form one product.
A simplified example of this is that A + B will form one product called AB.
Color the image on your notes using the example provided above. Element A (BLUE) reacts with Element B (RED) to form the compund AB (BLUE/RED).
Real World Example: When Iron (III) reacts with oxygen gas, rust will form.
